Classroom doors open across campus so you can meet all of your student's teachers.
New to 7th grade? Here's how this works: Unlike elementary school, there's no single classroom and no set schedule to follow. Instead, all of your student's teachers will have their doors open at the same time, and you're free to visit them in any order, at your own pace, for as much or as little time as you'd like.
Our tip: Bring your student with you and "walk their schedule" — visit teachers in the same order your student sees them during the school day. It's a great way to picture what their daily routine looks like and put a face to each class they're taking.
With 7 classes to visit in one hour, you won't get long with each teacher — but that's by design. Think quick hellos and a quick look at the classroom, not long conversations. If you want more time with a specific teacher, feel free to reach out afterward to schedule a follow-up.
